Upload Camera-Ready Version
Step 1. Revise accepted papers for final submission
If your paper is accepted for presentation and publication in IJCC24, you should prepare a final version of your paper for submission. This will be substantially the same as the submitted paper but must take into account reviewers’ comments. The IJCC24 Technical Program Committee reserves the right to reject a final manuscript if the reviewers’ comments are not adequately addressed.
When preparing your final manuscript, use the same formatting specifications described in the Submit Paper for Review Page https://www.jeaconf.org/SubConference/UserPages/UserPage.aspx?PageId=18&confId=1094 . Final manuscripts not conforming with the required format will not appear in the proceedings.
Step 2. Verify that your final manuscript is IEEE Xplore compliant
Accepted papers in IJCC24 will be submitted for publications in IEEE Xplore Digital Library. Therefore, all final manuscript files must adhere to the IEEE Xplore PDF specifications for compatibility. If your final manuscript file is not IEEE Xplore-compliant then it will be automatically withdrawn from presentation and publication.
In order to facilitate the process of creating and verifying PDF files, IJCC24 has registered to the IEEE PDF eXpress Plus service. This is a free service to IEEE conferences, allowing authors to convert their papers to EEE Xplore-compliant PDFs or to check whether their PDFs are IEEE Xplore-compliance.
In order to verify that your final paper is IEEE Xplore-compliant please follow the steps below.
-
Go to the IEEE PDF eXpress Plus site < https://ieee-pdf-express.org/ >.
-
Create an account if you don’t have one or login to the system using your existing account. Use 64742X as the conference ID during login. It is recommended to create a new account if you are returning later to use IEEE PDF eXpress plus site.
-
Click on “Create New Title”.
-
Enter a title information and click on Submit file for Checking or Converting.
-
You can then upload source file to convert it pdf or upload a pdf file for checking.
-
You will receive an email with your Checked PDF or IEEE PDF eXpress Plus with the converted PDF as an attachment. If you submitted a PDF for Checking, the email will show if your file passed or failed.
-
If the email states that the conversion/checking has failed, read the PDF Check report to get information on possible solutions. Correct the errors in your paper and try to submit again.
-
If the PDF submitted passes the PDF conversion/check, save the PDF version of the paper attached to the email or download it from the IEEE PDF eXpress Plus website.
Note: Uploading a paper to IEEE PDF eXpress Plus is NOT the same as submitting the final paper for publication. You will still need to submit the checked PDF of your final paper through EDAS.
Step 3. Upload the IEEE PDF eXpress Plus compliant version of your paper to EDAS.
With the IEEE PDF eXpress Plus compliant version of your final paper available:
-
Login into EDAS system and click on “My Papers” menu at the top of the page. A list of all your papers on the EDAS system will show up.
-
Click on the title of the paper that you want to submit. This will take you to the individual paper page that contains all details of the paper.
-
Check the authors’ information stored on EDAS matches the information in the PDF file. This information will be taken from the EDAS system when preparing the conference proceedings not from the PDF file. Specifically, make sure that:
-
all authors are included on the author list on EDAS. If you need to add/delete an author, then click on the “Add Author” icon within the “Authors” field.
-
the order of authors on EDAS is the same as their order on the paper. If you need to change the order of authors, then click on the “Move Author Up” and “Move Author Down” icons within the “Authors” field.
-
all authors have an updated profile (affiliation, email, country, etc.) on the EDAS system. To achieve this, the author needs to log-in to his/her EDAS account and click on the “My Profile” menu at the top of the page.
-
Check the paper’s information stored on EDAS matches the information on the PDF file. This includes title, abstract and keywords. This information will be taken from EDAS when preparing the conference publications (e.g. book of abstracts, proceedings, CD-ROM, etc.) not from the submitted PDF file. If you need to modify paper information, then click on the “Edit” icon next to the “Title” / “Abstract” / “Keywords” field.
-
Click on the “Upload File” icon within the “Final Manuscript” field. This will take you to a new page.
-
Click on the “Browse” button and browse to your IEEE Xplore-compliant final PDF file. Click on the “Upload Manuscript” button to upload the selected file to the system.
-
If the file is uploaded successfully then a confirmation message will be displayed. You will also receive an e-mail confirmation with the details of your submission.
-
If you do not see the confirmation page after uploading your file, you may not have successfully completed your file upload. If you encounter trouble, please contact the conference.
Step 4. Submit copyright form electronically
Authors of accepted papers are required to submit the IEEE Copyright transfer form by the “Final Submission and Author Registrations” deadline. No extensions will be granted beyond the deadline. Failure to submit the IEEE Copyright transfer form by the deadline will result in an automatic withdrawal of your paper for presentation and publication.
To submit the copyright form of your accepted paper, please follow the steps:
-
Go to the on-line submission system EDAS and log-in using your EDAS account that you used to submit the paper.
-
Click on the “Papers” menu item at the top of the page to list your papers on the EDAS system.
-
Click on the title of the paper that you want to submit the copyright form for. This will take you to the individual paper page that contains all details of the paper.
-
Click on the “Record Copyright Form” icon within the “Copyright form” field. This will take you to a new page. Click on the “Copyright submission” button. This will take you to an IEEE Electronic Copyright Form page generated specifically for your paper. Follow the instructions there to submit an electronically signed copyright transfer form to IEEE. Note that once you perform this step successfully you will not need to fax or mail a paper copyright form.
Step 5. Register for the conference
The final version of your accepted paper will appear in the conference proceedings provided that at least one of the authors registers. This must be carried out on or before the “Final Submission and Author Registration” deadline.
To register in the conference, please use the following link <https://edas.info/r32398 > which will guide you to the conference registration portal on EDAS. Add the registration that is applicable to your case (student, member of IEEE or JEA, Nonmember) and pay the registration fees using credit card. Authors of registered papers can register another paper free of charge once they register for the first paper. The registration option for the second free paper will be available after the registration of the first paper only.
Also, remember that that page limit in the conference is 6 pages. However, authors can pay for up to two extra pages after they register their paper.
